What an Amazing Year Of Community Grants
Recent Community Grant Awards
What an amazing year it has been. We’re incredibly proud to have supported so many fabulous local groups through our community grants scheme. Across our region, people have been working tirelessly to make life better for others, from youth bands and mental health projects to animal therapy farms and emergency services.
Here are just some of the recent organisations we’ve been honoured to support:
Fareham District Scouts Band
Funding provided new bugles for the marching band, helping young people develop musical and teamwork skills while performing at local events and parades.
Sunshine Radio Isle of Wight
A grant supported the hospital radio’s new on-air PC equipment, enabling volunteers to continue broadcasting 24/7 to patients and people in community care across the island.
The Elizabeth Foundation
Support for new play resources is helping deaf and hard-of-hearing children build listening and language skills through interactive learning at this specialist early-years centre.
Bassy’s Barn
Our funding purchased accessibility equipment that allows disabled children to move independently around this sensory-friendly farm in the New Forest.
Off The Record
A grant-funded trip for young carers, offering much-needed respite and opportunities to connect with peers through this youth mental health charity.
Rowner Community Trust
Funding provided books and sports equipment for autistic children, enhancing inclusive programmes that support learning and wellbeing.
Mustard Seed Autism Trust
Our grant supplied therapy games and sensory equipment used in the trust’s work with autistic children and their families across Hampshire.
South Coast Volleyball Club
Support for new training equipment, including balls and storage carts, is helping the club expand participation and improve its facilities.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance
We contributed towards the charity’s new Southampton base, part of its £3.6 million project to expand and modernise life-saving operations across the region.
Enable Ability
Our funding helped stage the charity’s inclusive Christmas show, complete with a mobile farm experience that brought joy and sensory engagement to local families.
We’re proud to stand behind these organisations and the countless volunteers who make our communities stronger, fairer and more connected.
